Thomas Yu is an amateur pianist who has won numerous awards and competitions all over the world. He asked me to design and develop a website to serve as both a personal blog and a showcase of his work.
Tom wanted a clean and simple layout for his site. Since his musical strengths lie in his renditions of classical pieces, I decided to employ an elegant theme for the site. The header features a curve reminiscent of the body of a grand piano and contains a montage of imagery showing Tom at his best.
To showcase the videos of Tom’s performances in concert halls around the world, I created a custom video player and named it YuTube.
