Vestiigo is a career site designed to simplify the job search market. They hand-pick all the employers listed on the site and allow applicants to communicate directly with the companies instead of through recruitment agencies. This is one of the more complex sites that I’ve developed, perhaps more of a Web app than a website.
I was asked to design a clean and professional looking site with a Web 2.0 feel that would appeal to young career seekers. Vestiigo allows applicants and employers to create an account profile within the site. Applicants can apply for posted jobs directly through the site and also upload their cover letters and resumes for employers. They can track which jobs they applied for, as well as the responses from employers. I also added a social networking feature that allows users to forward interesting job postings to their friends. Employers can post job opportunities through their Vestiigo profiles, and track and communicate directly with applicants for each job.
