The Little Pilgrims

The Little Pilgrims was a country/folk band that I played in. I hand-coded this website with HTML, CSS and PHP, and no content management system.
I wanted the website to reflect the quirky, story-telling style songs that the band wrote, as well as the colourful name. The background image suggests a parchment flyer that you might see tacked to a tree, complete with a brand-stamped Pilgrims logo, which I also designed. The logo was eventually used on albums, T-shirts and fridge magnets.
To showcase our music, I created pilgrAMP, a Flash-based music player that opens in a new window, allowing visitors to continue browsing the site while previewing the album.
